Based on the decision made by the architectural bureau and the client, the administrative building constructed in the 1970s was to be renovated. It was planned to construct a hotel building with 90 rooms.
Taking into account the value of the historical district of Sololaki, the updated building’s appearance was designed using minimalist methods.
The old plaster was removed from the building, the foundation and load-bearing walls were structurally reinforced.
The architectural design of Hotel Iota’s building, as well as the interior and engineering solutions, were based on the concept that “nothing is eternal, nothing is complete, and nothing is perfect.”
