The northern slope of Okroghana features a mild climate and a rich cultural landscape. The architectural bureau ab5 and Eva Borer designed a two-storey residential house that overlooks the development of Okroghana’s northern slope. The building is carefully integrated into the existing landscape, surrounded by gardens and deciduous trees. Its volume creates a cohesive form that is closely aligned with the road. The building is single-storey from the Zurich Street side, while it unfolds as two-storey from the yard side. The structure is a monolithic reinforced concrete frame, with reinforced concrete and wooden intermediate ceilings. The façade combines natural stone, concrete, and wooden panel cladding. The prominent detail of the building is the wooden shutters, which add dynamism to the façade facing the yard.
