This family house is located in Tskneti, west of Tbilisi, in an historically established summer cottage area, recognized for its outstanding natural beauty. The two-storey house, set on a terraced plot of land, is built on a site facing the views of the Caucasus Mountains to the north.
The residence features two yards. The first, a large yard filled with pine trees, is located at the street side, where the entrance to the building is situated. The second yard, positioned three meters below the 0.00 level, creates a green meadow surface. The main living spaces overlook the Caucasus Mountains, while the auxiliary rooms, deeper into the house, open onto a smaller yard. The yards differ in character and provide a close connection to nature, with valley views visible from the main living areas.
The house’s concrete walls are clad with wooden battens, creating a unique architectural skin. The building is surrounded by large windows on three sides, enhancing the lighting of the kitchen and common areas.
